Prerequisites

City & Guilds does not set entry requirements for this qualification. However, it is expected that candidates attempting the qualification should be familiar with electrical systems and hazards of electricity in order to satisfactorily complete the qualification. Attendees must also be a minimum of 18 years old.

Key Learning Outcomes

Develop the knowledge and practical skills required to professionally carry out inspection and testing on electrical installations in accordance with IET Codes of Practice.
