  • Health & Safety at Work etc Act 1974
  • The requirements of The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
  • Testing
  • Protection principles
  • Transformer theory & maintenance
  • Earthing principles & testing
  • Maintenance techniques
  • Switchgear operation & testing


Delegates will undertake a multiple-choice examination paper to demonstrate they have achieved the key learning outcomes detailed above.

Safety footwear, coveralls, safety glasses and gloves

Further Information

Classroom based with practical training to underpin knowledge gained and exclusively uses ASET’s High Voltage equipment which consists of a full range of HV and LV switchboards which can either be remotely switched through our Electric Control Panel or locally at the boards themselves.
