ASET International Oil and Gas Training Academy reserve the right to cancel a course should the number of bookings fall below the minimum number of delegates required per event or due to instructor availability due to unforeseen circumstances. Details of minimum numbers of delegates required can be found in each course descriptor. In the event of ASET International Oil and Gas Training Academy cancelling a course, liability will be limited to the refund of the course fee only, if paid.
No cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received more than 10 working days before the commencement of a course.
Notification 10 working days or less prior to the commencement of the course will result in a cancellation fee of the full course price being charged unless a substitute delegate can be provided or the original delegate transferred to an alternative date. Any course fees already paid shall be retained and allocated to the new delegate or transferred to the new course date as appropriate. Please note that the option to transfer delegates to an alternative date is restricted to one move per delegate and any subsequent cancellation request will result in the full course price being charged. We reserve the right to not accept a transfer of a booking if the request is made 24 hours prior to the commencement of the course.
Should your cancellation take the number of delegates attending the course below minimum numbers you will not be given the opportunity to transfer the delegate and will be required to pay the full cost for that delegate.
Please note cancellations involving the following courses:
- Offshore Installation Manager
- Introduction to CRO — Roles and Responsibilities
- CRO — Controlling Emergencies
- Major Emergency Management Initial Response
Which result in the cancellation of the total course event will result in the full charge per delegate to cover operational costs incurred due to the cancelled course — Role players, Assessors, Emergency response suite booked for the course and two teaching staff.
