About this course
This course is suitable for Managers and Supervisors wishing to gain a broad understanding of occupational Health & Safety.
Course Length (Days)
To provide an introduction for Managers and Supervisors on how to manage Health & Safety in the workplace.
The course consists of eight units covering a range of Health & Safety topics including:
- A general approach to managing safely
- Understanding why incidents involving injury or damage occur
- Applying management principles to Health & Safety problems.
Classroom based with practical exercises.
An IOSH Certificate will be awarded to candidates who successfully complete the examination and practical assessment.
Minimum Instructor Qualification/Experience
- Corporate Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.

Times of Training
08:30 to 17:00
