About this course
To provide knowledge of advanced troubleshooting techniques using the plant Control System as well as conventional test equipment. Maximizing the use of Instrument drawings, and communication with Operations staff to aid in high speed fault diagnosis. Using the Control System to aid in fault finding, on a live Delta V DCS and Delta V SIS ESD system, also with a fully functioning Asset Management Suite.
- Correct use of Instrument Loop drawings, P&ID's, Instrument data sheets, Logic drawings, Relay logic drawings to aid fault diagnosis.
- Use of plant DCS/AMS systems to aid fault diagnosis on all instrumentation. (Live Delta V DCS, Delta V SIS, AMS)
- Use of 375 and 475 Hart/Fieldbus Communicators to aid fault diagnosis.
- Full training on all of the following test equipment, Druck 603 Pressure Calibrators, mA Sources, Digital Multimeters, Druck 620/621 Multi-function Calibrators, Beamex MCS Calibrators, Dry block temperature Sets, Decade Resistance Boxes, Pneumatic Calibrators.
