Personnel operating airband VHF radio equipment in the offshore industry eg Helicopter Landing Officers, Control Room Operators, Crane Operators and Stand-by Vessel Officers.

Course Aims

To enable personnel to acquire the knowledge, competence and skills necessary for the use of the CAA radiotelephony service in the offshore industry.

  • Communication techniques
  • Aeronautical radio stations
  • Offshore aeronautical service
  • Distress and urgency procedures
  • All according to CAP 452.

Classroom.

Certification

CAA Offshore Communication Service Radio License.

Minimum Instructor Qualification/Experience

  • CAA Offshore Operators Certificate.
