Management and operational personnel from Rig Operators, Engineers, Offshore Consultants and other personnel requiring information and instruction relevant to the marine operation of a Jack-Up installation.

Course Aims

To introduce participants to the theoretical and practical considerations for safely moving a Jack-Up unit from one location to another.

  • Rig moving practice (wet and dry transport)
  • Accidents and losses
  • Simulated exercises.

Delivery

All ASET's Skills based training replicates the working environment creating the 'reality without the risk'. This course uses a unique high fidelity three leg and four leg simulator using the latest technology linked to hydraulically actuated motion, providing exceptional realism to practical training, including dynamic experience of'punch through'.

Certification

ASET Certificate internationally recognized by the offshore industry.

Minimum Instructor Qualification/Experience

  • Class 1 (Master Mariner) or Class 2 with Jack-Up experience.
